What are some additional opportunities for my pet to play during their stay?

We have both doggie daycare and private play options for our canine guests and private play for our feline guests.

Doggie Daycare:

Doggie Daycare offers your pup an opportunity to join in and play with other dogs. Let our receptionists know if you are interested in having your dog join us for our full-day or half-day Doggie Daycare program during their boarding stay.

Doggie Daycare Evaluation:

If your dog is new to our Doggie Daycare program, let our receptionists know and we can schedule a Doggie daycare Evaluation during their boarding stay. For your convenience, you can fill out our Doggie Daycare Evaluation form online and email it to [email protected] or bring it with you when you check into your boarding reservation. This evaluation process allows our staff to get to know your pup, their play style, and their personality. Our staff will then match them into a playgroup with other doggie friends based on their play preferences.

Private Play:

Private play with a Clawington staff member is an option for both our canine and feline guests. During private play, your pet will receive 30 minutes of playtime outside or in their suite with one of our staff members.

Can I tour the facility?

We would love to show you our facilities! We recommend scheduling a tour before your pet’s stay as drop-off days can be very busy. Please note that we do not offer tours on high-volume boarding dates so that our staff can focus on providing excellent care to all of our canine and feline guests.

Does Clawington offer camera access?

Yes! Clawington of Madison is proud to offer camera access to our boarding clients, please note that not every suite is equipped with cameras and that camera availability is first come first serve. We are working diligently on a new system to dramatically improve your camera experience. (Cameras are only available in canine suites)

What will my pet need during their stay?

The short answer is please feel free to bring anything from home that will make your pet feel comfortable.

  •       Food – We provide a complimentary house diet to all of our guests for their stay. However, not every pet loves to switch their food for their stay. If your pet is on a special diet, has allergies, a sensitive stomach, or is particularly choosy about their food, we recommend bringing their food from home.

  •       Treats – Feel free to send in any treats your dog loves to eat. We are happy to give them a little extra TLC.

  •       Beds and or Blankets – We provide every pet bedding and a comfy place to sleep, however, we understand that your pet may like their bed and blankets more. Please note, however, that we reserve the right to take any materials bed, blankets, or anything in between out of their suite for their safety. If we witness your pet chewing and or destroying anything in their suite, we will remove the offending item to protect your pet from choking and or acquiring a bowel obstruction.

  •       Toys –  We want your pet to feel as if they never even left home, therefore we welcome you to bring your pet’s favorite toy to accompany them for their stay. Please note, however, that because of the inherent risk of choking, all toys will be removed from the suite at night. Your pet’s toys will be returned to them in the morning for them to play with all day. Again, we reserve the right to remove any toys from the suite to prevent choking or injury to your animal, if the toys have to be removed they will be returned to the owner at the end of the stay.
